This finely handcrafted Mezuzah case is individually designed by Ester Shahaf, a successful Israeli Judaica artist. Ester Shahaf has gained world-wide recognition for her imaginative eye and distinctive style. Made of wood and pewter, the Mezuzah is hand-painted by the artist and beautifully decorated with Swarovski crystals, brass and copper accents. At the top of the Mezuzah  appears the Hebrew letter Shin. The letter Shin stands for one of God's many sacred acronyms and for "Shomer Dlatot Israel", which means the protector of our gates.
